MER Clinic: Modeling an 1880s Railroad: Prototype and Models

Modeling the railroads of the 19th Century requires research, patience and imagination. The rewards include a lot of railroad in a small space and the satisfaction of meeting multiple challenges. Michael will cover the reasons for historical modeling, information resources, and available models. The clinic will be illustrated with scenes fiom his former layout, based on the Lehigh Valley RR. A new, sectional layout is under cons!xuction and he will display the first section.
